Funing Yan, PhD

Funing Yan is a Principle Scientist at Boehringer Ingelheim. He currently provides analytical support for GMP drug substance release and new modality related formulation analysis under GxP regulation. He also manages projects with CROs, including establishing plans, reviewing and approving protocol and reports. Funing has extensive experience in the innovative technologies with research focusing on the analytical method development using novel linkers and protein crosslinking strategy as well as the investigation of inhibitor/enzyme complexes. He had established analytical methods in the analyses of both large and small drug candidates at Acorda Therapeutics and led the analytical team in ARMGO Pharma before joining Boehringer Ingelheim. Funing received his PhD in chemistry.
