Erin Copeland Jones joined Eli Lilly and Company in 2003 after obtaining a Bachelor of Science in chemistry from Georgia Southern University. She is currently a Senior Principal Scientist in Synthetic Molecule Design and Development. Her work focuses on commercializing small and medium molecules with an emphasis on characterization of physicochemical properties, developing control strategies, and authoring CMC-related documentation to support global commercialization. She has experience in GMP and development testing environments and, in addition, has worked extensively on leading reference standard establishments across several modalities to support discovery, clinical trials, and commercial supply chains. She is passionate about developing people as well as ensuring quality for Lilly products.
