Subathra Ramamoorthy, M.S., RPh, is an Associate Principal Scientist at Veranova, a global leader in the development and manufacturing of complex active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) for pharmaceutical and biotech products. With over 15 years of experience in analytical research and development, Subathra specializes in developing and validating analytical methods for drug substances, supporting investigational new drugs (IND), new drug applications (NDA), and complex generic pharmaceutical products. She is highly skilled in regulatory compliance, analytical method development, quality risk assessments, and computer system validation (CSV).
Her expertise includes impurity profiling, with specialized knowledge in extractables and leachables (E&L) testing, elemental impurities, and polymorphic characterization - key areas that contribute to advancing drug safety, efficacy, and regulatory compliance.
Prior to joining Veranova, Subathra worked at Lupin, gaining extensive experience in analytical R&D for drug products, focusing on complex generics and contributing to first-to-market launches and innovative drug formulations.
